The Water Works Conservancy, Inc. (WWC) is a grass roots not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the National Landmark eligible Hackensack Water Co. site in Oradell and restoring the natural habitat surrounding the site. Members get involved in all levels of historic preservation and the providing of information to groups and organizations about our historic Water Works, the last of its kind in the nation. The site includes a technological time-line of 100 years of equipment - steam to electricity - within the buildings.
